I build it first
Before we ever speak about money, I've already designed your site. You see the real thing on your phone, not a mockup or a sales pitch.
You look at it
If it isn't right, tell me and I'll change it. If you don't want it, that's the end of it — you've paid nothing.
I put it live
I register your domain, connect it, and launch. Usually the same day. Then I keep it running and current for you.
Pricing
No contract. No surprises.
All prices in US dollars. New York State sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your business address. Month-to-month — there is no contract and no minimum term. Prefer to pay yearly? $599 a year instead of monthly, which works out to two months free.
Payment is taken securely by card. You'll get a receipt by email and a link to manage or cancel your plan at any time.
The honest part
What you're actually paying for.
You're not buying a file you download. You're paying me to build your website, host it, and keep it current for you. I write the code and I run it.
That means if you cancel, the site comes down — the same way it works with anyone who hosts and maintains a site for you. I'd rather say that plainly now than have you find out later.
"Unlimited changes" means the content on your page — text, photos, hours, prices, specials. Additional pages, online ordering, or booking systems are separate work, quoted separately. I'll always tell you before anything costs extra.

What I provide
Rembrandt Designs designs, builds, hosts, and maintains a website for your business. The one-time launch fee covers designing and building the site, registering and connecting a domain name, and putting it live. The monthly Care Plan covers hosting, the domain renewal, the security certificate, and content changes that I carry out for you on request.
This is a service I perform. You are not purchasing or licensing software, and no software is supplied to you. I write and retain the website code and I control where it is published.
Free trial
The Care Plan is free for the first 30 days. Your card is charged the $489.99 launch fee, plus applicable sales tax, at the time you sign up. The first monthly charge of $59.99 plus tax is taken 30 days later, and monthly after that. Cancel within the first 30 days and you are never charged a monthly fee.
Cancellation
The Care Plan is month-to-month with no contract and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time, by phone, by email, or through the billing link in your receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for — you keep the service until then.
When the Care Plan ends, hosting ends with it and the website is taken offline. Your domain name is yours; tell me where to transfer it and I'll release it to you at no charge.
Refunds
The $489.99 launch fee is non-refundable once the website has been built. The work is done specifically for your business before you are asked to pay anything, and you see the finished site before you decide — so there is nothing to buy sight unseen.
Monthly Care Plan fees are non-refundable, including partial months. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date. If you believe you've been charged in error, call me and I will make it right.
Sales tax
Rembrandt Designs is a registered New York State sales tax vendor. Where sales tax applies it is calculated at checkout based on your business address and shown separately before you pay. Rates differ by county, so the exact total depends on where your business is located.
Privacy
I collect only what's needed to build your site and bill you: your name, business name, phone number, email address, and billing address. Payment card details are entered directly with Stripe, our payment processor, and are never seen or stored by me.
I do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone, and I don't send marketing email. Your details are used to deliver the service and to meet New York State record-keeping requirements. Ask me to delete your information at any time after your account closes and I will, except for records I'm legally required to retain.
This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties. Visiting it is not tracked.
