Rembrandt Designs is run by Rembrandt Pena, from Lynbrook on the South Shore of Long Island. There is no account manager, no sales team and nobody offshore. When you call, you get the person who builds the sites.
Building it first was
the only honest version.
Almost every website is sold before it exists. You sit through a meeting, look at a mock-up or a slide, hand over a deposit, and then wait to find out whether the thing in your head matches the thing that turns up.
That is backwards, and it is backwards specifically for the person with the least time and the least reason to trust a stranger. So the order is reversed here: the site gets built, you look at the finished thing on your own phone, and only then does anyone talk about money. If it is not right, say so and it changes. If it is not for you, nothing is owed.
The risk should sit with the one asking for the money.
This is a new business.
It would be easy to pad this page with stock photographs of a team that does not exist, or a client list that is not real. Plenty of sites do. We would rather say it plainly: Rembrandt Designs is new, and you will not find ten years of case studies here.
What that means for you is less than it sounds, because you are not being asked to take a reference on faith. You are looking at a finished site built for your business, on your phone, before any money changes hands. That is a better test than anyone else's testimonial, and it is the reason the business is set up this way.
And you can judge the work by the thing you are reading. This page is around 40 kilobytes, hand written, and loads nothing from anyone else's servers. If that is the standard you want on your own site, that is the standard you will get.

No position on Google, no visitor numbers, no leads per month. Nobody can promise those honestly, and the ones who do are spending your money to find out.
We will not hold your domain
It is registered in your name and it is yours. Leave whenever you like and it goes with you, free, however the parting went.
We will not hand you a system to run
No login, no dashboard, no password, no updates. You did not go into business to administer a website, and the whole product is that you never have to.
We will not chase you
No drip emails, no follow-up sequence, no calling back every week. One conversation, and if the answer is no then that is the end of it.
